It all began when our founder, a passionate language learner, struggled to find a platform that offered both enjoyable and meaningful language practice. While there were many apps and tools available, most of them either focused on rote memorization or didn’t give users the real-life context needed to truly master a language.
So, the idea for Kinglingo was born: To create a tool that helps learners practice in a fun, engaging way while reinforcing what they’ve already learned.
But building such a platform wasn’t straightforward. There were countless ideas to explore, so our founder began a journey of research and discovery, talking to as many people as possible—from language learners and educators to friends, family, and everyday app users. These conversations helped uncover key insights about what language learners truly need.
